Would you believe it, the day we decide to give the ramparts their yearly short back and sides in anticipation of Mowsbury Hill meadow being cut and bailed it decides to rain. But that did not dampen our spirits. The morning brush cutting exercise gave way to the afternoon task session of the repatriation of the wayward golf balls before the cut and bailers make their appearance sometime soon.
