Green Flag Award 17 July 2025
Excellent news the Friends Group has been awarded Green Flag Community flags for 2025 for both sites. Putnoe Wood received marks of 80plus with very encouraging comments and the report summary of “An excellent site faced with an uncertain future given the presence of ash die back and limited funding to comprehensively rejuvenate the wood and move away from the even-aged structure. An excellent partnership between volunters and LA.” We have not yet received the report for Mowsbury Hillfort.
